Mandela: Long Walk To Freedom is a truly inspirational piece of work. Although, this would have been better as a miniseries. It is full of trumendous performances, especially from Idris Elba. The narrative is handled well, but the film always feels redundant.
This films purpose is for you to reflect on the life on Mandela, feeling sympathetic: this is what Long Walk To Freedom does well!
