Review of Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom (2013) by Spencer K — 26 Dec 2014

An incredibly emotional and inspirational film with an Oscar worthy performance by Idris Elba. however, it's incredibly overlong and I was bored at several parts throughout the movie. the directing is personal and strong and the script is well written, too.

the main flaw with this film was how long it was and it sees to just drag on in many parts throught various parts of the film. and solely for that reason is took off a lot from the movie and it made me disinterested and I was checking my watch throughout.
