This film adds context to the Nelson Mandela story, expanding the viewer's knowledge about the movement against apartheid, Nelson's partners, and the broader African context from which the young Mandela emerged.
The film strikes the right notes, just as the protagonist himself did during his 90+ years, and the world is better place for this.
