OK it was not a fun movie... and too long! It was really sad, depressing, disturbing, heartbreaking and emotional. Casey Affleck played sad, lonely, drunk and troubled guy Lee really great. Maybe he can win the Oscar for best actor.
Lucas Hedges and Michelle Williams did good performances too. People were fighting and arguing, too many terrible accidents and tragedies, death and haunting scenes... Yes, this movie made me sad... But I thought somebody's life is like this.
It was real and serious. Manchester looked really cold, quiet and beautiful. But it was not my favorite and I don't wanna see it again. One of the producers was Matt Damon.
