Review of Manchester by the Sea (2016) by Stefani S — 06 May 2017

I'm being generous giving the movie 3 stars. I'm all for serious dramas and pieces of work that really make you think, but the 2:17 movie could have been edited down to 1:30 and made the same impact.

The movie was so stretched out it just made its pace extremely slow and at times boring to keep up with. I walked away to put laundry in, serve myself some dinner and returned feeling like I hadn't missed much, because I really hadn't.

I almost feel like a lot of the talent was wasted on this film.
