This is one of the most depressing movies I've ever watched. Well acted, but very, very, very slow, and dark and the opposite of uplifting. It's a feel sad movie. The emotional torture of dealing with horrible life tragedy is well represented, but watching it for two and a half hours is not fun, nor particularly illuminating.
