Review of Manchester by the Sea (2016) by Aidan D — 24 Jan 2018
One of the best movies of the decade so far, in my opinion. Some will disagree; one could say it was a boring mess. It worked completely for me, though, with great, realistic, dialogue and a melancholy tone throughout.
The acting was superb. I was blown away by Casey Affleck and Lucas Hedges. You have to appreciate subtlety to enjoy this movie.
