Review of Manchester by the Sea (2016) by Jairo A — 06 Aug 2017

First, let me say the best performance in this film is by Casey Affleck! He's cold, calm, angry, guilty, and dead(emotionally). And he makes you feel those emotions with his acting. But it wasn't just him, all the actors did really well in this film, he just steals the show! The story is great but it's one of those movies that will really make you sad, I felt really down after watching this film. I'm not going to spoil anything...all I'll say is, get some Kleenex ready.

Only time will tell if this movie will get better with time. I'll rewatch it some other time but not anytime soon...it's a sad story and I'm not always in the mood for a story of this type. Excellent! 4/5 OR 8/10.
