Review of Management (2009) by Charles S — 05 Oct 2009
Maybe I saw something more than critics saw in this movie, or maybe I'm just biased because I'm a Steve Zahn fan, but I thought this was a fantastic movie, and I was in no way expecting it to be that good.
It's a sort of chick flick dramedy thing, but I thought it was very original. Almost like a coming of age story that's about an adult coming of age played perfectly by Steve Zahn. The one thing I did not like was the R-Rating.
This could have worked as PG-13 easily, I really don't get the need to throw a hand-full of F bombs in the mix just for the heck of hit. Other than that it had everything needed to make one of the best rom-coms that I have ever seen.
It was funny, the stuff with him Zahn's character becoming a 'non-full time monk' was hilarious. I would def recommend this to any dudes to buy for your DVD collection as a movie that chicks will like, that doesn't suck.
