A real departure for Stephen Bleber from his play and screenplay for Tape. This is a slightly oddball comedy romance that stays quiet enough not to offend but also not exactly impress. Having said that Aniston and Zahn perform well.
Aniston in particular proving, with the likes of The Good Girl and Friends With Money, that she is equally adept working in the realms of the indie, showcasing what Mike Judge describes as 'domestic beauty'.
