Review of Management (2009) by Amber S — 17 Jan 2010
Since there's bugger all on at the cinema at the moment, I've been forced to dredge through the Foxtel Box Office and choose between films that were too lame to get a cinema release. Management is one such film, cute but underwhelming Amerindie starts promisingly with an off-beat, gentle humour but becomes more trite and predictable with each passing moment.
Steve Zahn is always worth watching, and he's at his most charming here. Anniston on the other hand doesn't get the character arc happening to satisfying effect. She's suitably brittle to begin with but doesn't thaw out the way the story warrants.
