Review of Man with the Screaming Brain (2005) by Aarne P — 08 Sep 2006
The movie was written by, directed by, and stars B movie king Bruce Campbell. It a heck of a thing to not only watch a movie staring Bruce Campbell but one that he also made behind the camera. The movie also stars Ted Raimi as a rapper wannabe. It is rare for a movie to be able to drag into its universe and make you enjoy and understand it with only an hour and a half run time.
A rich businessman (Bruce Campbell) visits Europe and is your average rich tourist (An As$hole). He ends up pissings off his wife and a cab driver, the cabbie and the wife have an affair. All three of them are eventually killed by a jealous maid who seems to be on a murder spree for marriage. Crazy yrt highly enjoyable plot.
The movie celebrates it B status like a holiday. There are robots with human brains and a human with two different brains. Both of the parties really want the evil serial killing maid dead as a doornob. There is quite a bit of humor the best one involves the danceing robot well, danceing what else? Another good one involves a guy who gets his fingers broken a few times. If you are a B movie fan then I can highly recomend this one or if you're a Bruce Campbell fan.
