Review of Man with a Movie Camera (1929) by Max S — 05 Oct 2008
Wow, visual pornography at its finest! The line between director, narrator, audience, and even editor is blurred so much that what emerges in the end is cinema and society as a collective (un?)consciousness (surely Vertov's goal).
The soundtrack by The Cinematic Orchestra is amazing as well.
