Review of Man with a Movie Camera (1929) by Maxwell S — 19 Oct 2012
This film has a love of itself. A love of the world and how it works. A love of people and how they work. It is intensely brilliant, beautiful and surreal. It has some of the most stunning and revolutionary cinematography possibly ever. The result is what is, and will remain to be, unarguably cinema's greatest experiment. My vote for one of the 10 greatest films ever made.
P.S. DON'T listen to that new soundtrack that those unoriginal british rock/jazz group. It barely connects and ruins it, I hate to turn the sound off 10 minutes in.
