Of course you're not supposed to think about what's going on. Lost me when you realise the blind daters (who were supposed to have prepared themselves for the perfect match) hadn't bothered to check out how the other one looked! I know that blind date in olden days meant you hadn't met before going on a date together but in these days - and this is supposed to be a modern rom com - it is so easy to meet on line, at least check out the other's looks.
