Review of Man on Wire (2008) by Damien R — 23 Feb 2010
Marsh manages to capture the sense of wonder and magic that Philippe Petit 'coup' brought to New York in the mid-seventies. A mixture of interviews and archive footage that manages to keep the viewer on the edge of the seat, wondering if Petit would be caught in spite of the walk being historical fact.
Documentary at the height of its game.
