Cool story, but could've done a better job telling it. For an hour and thirty four minutes we hear about how these people thought it was impossible. They didn't think he was serious. Blah blah blah.
Yes, we get it. Stop throwing out all of these cliches. I understand it's a documentary, but if you're directing this and you're starting to hear the same story for a while, how about you take it in a different direction? However, I was entertained enough by this film.
It's interesting to see a guy feel so passionate about something and not really have a reason for it. He just follows what he loves. It's really inspiring. And the stories are comical. But I would have also loved to hear how he got these people to work with them, who they were, etc.
And how did Petit get the money to do this? He flew back and forth many times, had to buy the equipment for this. I don't know, it just felt like they were so focused on one part of the story they refused to tell more of it.
