Review of Man on Wire (2008) by Grant F — 27 May 2012
Though I have not seen many documentaries, I thought important to include at least one. I decided to choose Man on Wire which is not only a superb film, but the best documentary I've ever seen. I have only seen this film once but it has left a lasting impression.
This film is compiled with actual footage, interviews and reenactments. This movie documentary follows the story of tightrope walker Philippe Petit's daring, but illegal, high-wire routine performed between New York City's World Trade Center's twin towers in 1974.
It is a fascinating film that I was utterly awed and inspired me. See it!
