Review of Man on Wire (2008) by Trevor R — 31 Mar 2013
It's a wonderfully told story about Phillipe making the biggest crossing of his life.
He also goes through a lot of trouble by sneaking into the World Trade Center, bringing his equipment with his partner and avoiding being arrested in the process.
The documentary takes you step-by-step his preparation daring a life-threatening task.
The movie can get insanely boring fast if you're not into it 100% because they spend a lot of time building up to the climax showing Phillipe's challenge and the rest of the time is devoted to interviews of the people who had their own concerns about this controversy.
The bonds of frienship and teamwork in the end held together this incredible accomplishment of an extraordinary wire walker.
