Review of Man on the Moon (1999) by Chris B — 20 Feb 2009
I admit I don't know much about Andy Kaufman, so I can't really say how accurately Carrey portrays him in this film, but I really think his performance is fantastic in this film. Carrey is hilarious funny in all of his comedic performances, but in this film, there was another dimension to his acting: his portrayal of Kaufman is funny, moving, emotional, witty, bizarre and brilliant.
Paul Giamatti and Danny DeVito are also both excellent.
