No one but Jim Carrey could have played the role of Andy Kaufman effectively, in my opinion. Other than Jim Carrey's mesmorizing performance, however, I actually found this to be a very average movie.
Courtney Love was horribly miscast here, and Danny DeVito and Paul Giamatti both give lackluster performances as well. A good movie, but not a great one.
