I went for this without knowing any of the story of Andy Kauffman.because I'm not American, I imagined it would be very hard to relate to the story, but I was wrong. Mostly because of Jim Carrey's flawless performance, I could see through the weight of being a biography adaptation and understand the characters and the script.
It reached out to me. This is how a genius is misunderstood and the kind of life a person who is always sincere can expect to have. This is for the dreamers and the non-conformists. Heart-touching.
