Well done, but not as true to Andy Kaufman as it could have been. Andy was much less directed and focused. It really couldn't be helped, I guess, because Jim Carrey is very determined and goes after what he wants.

In order to really become the character, he had to apply Andy Kaufman's behaviors to himself as much as possible. I do wish that they had gone into more detail about Andy's childhood because this movie would be very misrepresentative.

For instance, I believe that Kaufman would have been much better off without Bob Zmuda's influence, because the facts of his life show this to be true. The movie would have you believe that Andy was always sexually obbsessed and rather uncaring of others' feelings in most situations, and that Zmuda was just his little sidekick.

In reality Zmuda was rather a mentor to Andy, in the worst possible of ways.
