Was scarcely familiar with who Andy Kaufman was, but the couple of minutes I spent on YouTube looking at his stuff to prepare for this movie was enough to make me realize it would be one hell of an acting job to nail his very eccentric & enigmatic personality.
Jim Carrey did a remarkable effort, though, which leads me to think that this is the best performance he has ever given (yet to see ''The Truman Show''). Direction by Milos Forman deserves special praise too.
A successful and highly entertaining bio picture. Thumbs up.
