The movie has a puzzling mood where the audience can never seem to tell what is real and what is simply a joke. Andy Kaufman's tale is peculiar and exciting, with Jim Carrey giving an astounding performance, and arguably the best of his career.
For those who can appreciate the absolute bizarreness of the entire movie, Man on the Moon is a vastly rewarding watch.
