Review of Man on Fire (2004) by Paulius B — 15 Apr 2012
You cannot not like this film. you simply cant. Denzel , with his trademark performance of a enigmatic bodyguard who offers no emotion, explodes off the screen with a very calm and and almost sedated manner.
This definatley was not a cliche hitman/bodyguard movie. Above all it managed to make the killing machine (denzel) seem to have a heart, and that his fury and vengeance was very much justified.
