Review of Man on Fire (1987) by Jess H — 07 Feb 2011

There's so many things to like about this film. First, Denzel. There's no need to elaborate on that point. Second, Dakota Fanning has the appropriate percentage of screen time for the last time since this movie.

Anything more than 15% of total run time on-screen and she seems to ruin anything. Third, Christopher Walken in a role that he doesn't seem horribly out of place in. Amazing. And lastly, lots of vigilante justice which is always a crowd pleaser.

I probably watched this movie 3 times in a week when it was released and several times since.
