Give me what no-one else asks for.

Superb style and powerful performances drive this entertaining, yet long winded action drama.

The Story: A body guard goes on a murderous rampage while searching for the people responsible for the kidnapping of a child he was hired to protect. As I've already mentioned, this film is stylish. Everything about it looks great, right down to the use of subtitles. It's got a lot of ultra violence, but it's also got a lot of drama. Don't expect to sit down and see explosive action from start to finish, in fact it takes about an hour for the action to actually pick up. But non-stop action or not, this film is still very much worth your time.

The Cast: Denzel Washington, Dakota Fanning... Denzel Washington is Creasy, the body guard out for revenge. He gives a powerful performance here, but he really only plays one emotion, and that's anger. Dakota Fanning is Pita, the little girl with her life depending on one man. She gives a great performance here, although she's only prominent in the first half of the film. If you weren't a fan already you will be after this. Two outstanding performances make for one great film.

One to Five Scale: 4.

Style overtakes substance, and it's a little on the long side, but it's still worth your time. Fans of Washington will love this, fans of Fanning will love this, fans of drama, and fans of action should all find reason to love this film.
