Review of Man on Fire (1987) by William M — 22 Feb 2016
I don't mind violent films in the least and I really wished this one delivered on it's lofty action movie promise. Instead we get a run of the mill film that is cut together atrociously. This is the start of a now thankfully dead way of shooting a film with rapid cuts and colour filter feedback that is utterly unecessary.
Tony Scott knows how to direct competent action, don't fix something that aint broke!
