Review of Man on a Ledge (2012) by Cody M — 17 Jul 2012

Convoluted thriller about a wrongly-convicted cop (Sam Worthington) who climbs out on the ledge of a hotel and threatens to jump, attracting crowds of onlookers along with the usual police officers. As a disgraced negotiator (Elizabeth Banks) tries to talk him down, it soon turns out that he is the distraction for heist going on in a neighboring building owned by a villainous real estate developer (Ed Harris).

Slickly made with a decent cast who manage to keep the increasingly silly movie afloat, but the so-called master plan relies so much on luck that one only sigh and go with the flow. Average.
