Review of Man on a Ledge (2012) by Goose R — 20 Jul 2012
This thriller tale has some things going for it but sometimes connecting the various plot elements feels a bit off. That said, it's still good even if not great. I appreciated one particular twist in the last quarter of the picture.
Story focuses upon a man, who turns out to be an ex cop who claims he's innocent, who is on a ledge planning to kill himself and draws the police and a big crowd.
Starring Sam Worthington, Ed Harris, Elizabeth Banks, Edward Burns and Jamie Bell.
The budget was $42M and it just about broke even at the Box Office.
STORY/PLOTTING/EDITING: B; CHARACTERS/DIALOGUE: B; CINEMATOGRAPHY: B plus; WHEN WATCHED: early July 2012; OVERALL GRADE: B.
