Review of Man on a Ledge (2012) by Peter N — 17 Oct 2012

I was surprised by some of the scathing reviews on here. I got exactly what I expected out of this film. Is it an acting powerhouse fueled by an intelligent script and tight plotting? No. It might be a generic thriller, but that's not always a bad thing.

There are enough heart stopping moments and heated words exchanged between the characters to keep it interesting. The only complaint I have from a film like this is the ending, which is a complete cop-out and stands out for its stupidity, even in a film full of implausibility.

Everything leading up to it is fine, though.
