Review of Man on a Ledge (2012) by Christian A — 08 Jul 2013
Although difficult at some points to follow the plot line of the movie lacked many key elements that allow any movie to flow. First was at some points I couldn't understand when how much time elapsed between certain events.
Another was that there was a really annoiance with Sam Worthington and his character. His acting style and perso laity did not fit this charismatic ex cop looking for justice. He never really seemed very excited to leave prison, the random guy on the street with a hobo like appearance seemed more excited for him.
Another is how the group after breaking an entry, holding and leaving a man at gunpoint, failing to commit suicide, and stealing a diamond of high worth was able to go to the bar afterwards and celebrate.
...oh I forgot they even faked a death and broke out of jail....you would think they would have been arrested. But regardless the annoying acting from the detective crew, and the end of the movie being a few lustful glances from the female cop to the ex con, the movie had excellent suspense with near escape scenes and quick and funny dialogue between characters.
Two stars seem fair and id say it's almost fresh but not something worth seeing again.
