Review of Man of the Year (2006) by Marco B — 24 Aug 2008

This movie isn't that good but the content is the truth...simple and hurting truth.

Maybe there's too many genres (comedy, drama, politic, thriller, suspense) in the story to be totally enjoyable, but the comedy side make it watchable and everything said about politics is great. Levinson found a really nice way to show everybody that the capitalism isn't a bad thing, but some people are. Normally I would've gave this movie only 3 or 3.5 stars but there is so many truth said in it that I let my heart do the talking and gave 4 stars. OK OK, the happy ending with the "she-became-his-wife-and-all" kinda sucks but this is hollywood and they don't seems to understand after 80 years so ...
