Review of Man of the Year (1995) by Helen C — 04 Oct 2008
The concept of this flick is good, because in reality look what happened when Stephen Colbert launched his phony presidential campaign...and Williams is youthful and fun as usual, with the backing of Lewis Black and Christopher Walken adding fuel to the comedy fire.
And then it turns into a conspiracy drama at the end...helmed by the evil CEO Jeff Goldblum. Had it maintained the momentum of the beginning it would have been the spark WIlliams' needed to re-ignite his stale career, but I guess that's just not in the cards.
