Review of Man of the Year (1995) by Jacob B — 30 Jun 2011
Man of the Year had great potential but didn't quite hit the bulls-eye. The premise of the film was decent enough, but it was not executed to it's fullest. Robin Williams has always been a respected performer in my eyes, but this was one oh his weaker roles.
The script had some good jokes and dialogue here and there, but the plot just felt a little too linear. Christopher Walken's supporting role was well done, as far as the other performances goes nothing else really stood out.
Overall it was a satisfactory comedy that was not a total waste of time, to put it nicely.
