Man of Steel is one of my personal favorite DC movies of all time. Bold, inspiring, grounded in reality, offering expertly crafted action that never lacks an emotional punch, this is in my eyes the best incarnation of the character we've ever seen on the screen, and kicks off the DCEU the same way Iron Man kicked off the MCU in 2008.
