Review of Man of Steel (2013) by Daniel T — 30 Jun 2016
All over the place in its style. What is this we are watching? Zack Snyder can't decide what he wants. He films half of the film as if it were an independent film, and then he films the rest as if it were a big Hollywood blockbuster.
On top of that, he fills the second to last portion of the film with Zod and Superman punching each other for what feels like an hour, only to give us a fight that has no winner. Problem: the villain cannot be someone with the same powers as superman.
Boring. This is just the tip of the iceberg.
