This modern-day superman film titled "Man Of Steel" gives its viewers a well executed backstory to superman along with a somewhat cliché plot. However, "Man Of Steel" still has some great acting all around, as well as an entertaining story with great character development and downright awesome fighting sequences.

So, in conclusion, even with its darker than usual characters and plot, "Man Of Steel" still has the workings of a really great, and possibly iconic, modern-day superhero film.
