Man of Steel has some of the best action scenes I've ever seen in a movie, but about the whole movie is just that. The action is great, but in turn it lends to some washed down character progression which really hurt it in my opinion.

I also think that, although being a reboot of the franchise, Snyder and company took many artistic liberties that a lot of people will have problems with in terms of Krypton and Clark's childhood.

All in all, Man of Steel is a good movie, and if you love action then this is the movie for you. However if you are a huge fan of the comics, the story may be a little aggravating. Never-the-less I believe the sequel will be amazing since they have the hard part out of the way.

Lets hope for the best.
