Positives: Henry Cavill embodies Superman, interesting new origin story, return to Krypton, some excellent performances, great visuals, very different from Superman Returns, first contact element!
Negatives: Superman was never meant to be so dark and gritty, poor dialogue at times, poor character development from certain characters, some over-lengthy scenes of action, Superman destroys the whole freaking city!
