Man of Steel is a solid superhero movie. At its best, the movie supplies milestone action sequences with amazing visual effects. However the film suffers from depressing characters and an overwhelming gloominess throughout the movie.
Overall the movie delivers a gripping story riddled with visual striking fight scenes.
