MAN OF STEEL was supposed to be perfect throughout except that it's not. The exception was the culminating fight between Superman and General Zod. Lazy CGI that's hurriedly done in that climactic scene spoiled this masterpiece.
Didn't mind that final act, it was just that Kalel vs. Zod battle that made us say, "What a waste after that great Superman vs. Faora & Nam-Ek scene..." For this misgiving, it loses a star for our rating, other than that, it was such a perfect material and concept to kick off the DCEU.
