Review of Man at Bath (2010) by Bob V — 08 Apr 2011
A big to-do was made about this film, the second one in a short time starring French gay porn star Sagat in a non-porn role (if the name doesn't ring a bell, I affectionately dub him Hung Lego-head Bubblebutt Boy, which really describes him perfectly). Chiara Mastroianni's career must be in bad shape or she was doing someone a HUGE favour, because I have no idea why she is in this film.
I could actually go on endlessly enumerating what is wrong with this product, in detail, but I need to get some sleep so let's be brief: if you're expecting a film with a plot, actual dialog & characters with a personality, then you'll be disappointed. If you're expecting explicit sex with a little story wrapped around it, you're better off getting one of the major porn studios higher-class releases, because you and your penis will be disappointed. Ergo, this movie serves no purpose at all, except to once again prove that a little well-stirred hype, and a hint of calculated controversy will always result in more exposure than a product necessarily warrants.
