I found the movie entertaining and it has inspired me to go see the live production of it. The downside of the movie for me was casting. Pierce Brosnan...seriously?!?!? Most of my laughter came from his musical performances.
With the exception of Amanda Seyfried (who owned her role and did amazing) I found the musical numbers to lack quality singing. Overall, it was a decent flick but I think I'd appreciate the live production of Mamma Mia more.
