Here is the thing with musicals: either they hit or flunk.. there is no in between. Mamma Mia flunked badly! The singing and performance were so artificial I was constantly put off. I will never recommend such a tiresome film to anyone.
The only thing I liked about it was the ABBA music, which they also spoiled to perfection!
