I really think scary movies about supernaturals are better off keeping their creatures off screen - we saw took much of Mama throughout the movie and it was almost comical. The ending was pretty bizarre too.
The first half of the movie carried the creepiness well, and major props to the acting of the two little girls who were quite amazing, but the second half was pretty laughably bad and confusing. Nothing really new in terms of storyline.
