Review of Mallrats (1995) by Joe L — 15 Sep 2009
This is arguably Smith's worst Jersey film. The acting is terrible, the plot is terrible, but for some unexplained reason, I still love it. The only real horrible aspect of this movie is Jeremy London.
God, he's terrible. Why does he always have his hands in his armpits when he speaks? Great artistic range there, London. Jason Lee is by far the best aspect of the film. His character, Brodie, is the best character in all these Jersey films.
..and yes, that includes Jay and Silent Bob.
