My boyfriend kept telling me this one would change my mind about Kevin Smith. Then again, various people have said that about Zack and Miri, Dogma, and Chasing Amy, too. I don't like any of them.
Though it no doubt holds a nostalgic little place in the hearts of 90s teens, Mallrats... sucks. There's no better way to say it. I don't like the guys enough to want to see them get their girls back. And I don't like the girls enough to care whether they get far, far away from the boys.
Please, don't make me watch Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back.
Kevin Smith as only an actor though, I've always enjoyed.
