I remember when I was young I wanted to see Clerks, Mallrats, and Chasing Amy when they came out by all the previews on MTV but I was too young to go see any of them at the theater. I eventually caught this movie (my first Kev movie I saw) on Encore late one night and fell in love with the View Askewniverse.
Mallrats is highly underrated and it's so sad that it flopped at theaters and Paul Blart succeeded. Jay and Silent Bob are hilarious and a fortune teller with a third nipple! Does it get any better then that!
